Standard retirement age at STIP is 68. Before you retire you can make a number of choices.

Things you can arrange

• If you are going to retire at 68 you do not have to arrange anything in advance. You will receive more information from us 6 months before your retirement date. This will clearly explain how to apply for your pension.
• If you wish to retire on another date, you can choose to retire early or late. Then please contact STIP 6 months before your retirement date.
